VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION IS NOT YET OPEN
From 3–8 March 2026, Tallinn will host a major international competition – the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships Tallinn 2026 – and we invite you to join our team of volunteers.
Volunteer registration will open soon! Please make sure that during the competition week, 03–08 March 2026, you are available to help on most days.
The minimum commitment for volunteers is three full days.
VOLUNTEER ROLES INCLUDE:
TEAM REGISTRATION – Information desk at the hotel.
TRANSPORT – On arrival and departure days, greeting delegations arriving at the airport and marking their arrivals/departures at the reception desk.
CATERING – Preparing and serving food in various areas of the ice hall: Skaters’ Lounge, Press Centre, etc.
ANTI-DOPING – Notifying athletes or their representatives of testing, and escorting athletes to the anti-doping control room from the moment of notification.
NB! Volunteers must be aged 18+ and have a good command of English.
PRESS CENTRE – Supporting representatives of media outlets. Providing information and assistance at the press centre info desk, helping with the preparation of press conferences, and ensuring the smooth running of the mixed zone (interview area). Media monitoring, including tracking international media coverage of the event.
PRINTING AND INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION – Supplying the competition with printed information materials and ensuring that noticeboards are kept up to date. Information is distributed based on pre-approved priorities, but always promptly. Also includes receiving and handling ad-hoc printing requests and supporting back-office functions.
ACCREDITATION – Issuing, printing, laminating, and distributing accreditation cards. Taking photos with a mobile phone if needed.
NB! English language skills required. Work takes place both at the Viru Hotel and at the ice hall.
SPECTATOR AREA – Guiding spectators and assisting them in finding their seats. Managing and supervising designated sectors to ensure that only authorised visitors access specific areas.
SECURITY SERVICE – Monitoring access permissions at designated points. Lift attendants assisting VIP guests to the second-level lounge.
VENUE SET-UP AND DISMANTLING – Assisting in the assembly and dismantling of event areas before and after the competition.
Additional roles may be added as preparations progress. All updates will be communicated to registered volunteers.
We will do our best to consider your preferences, but we reserve the right to assign volunteers to the areas where help is most needed.
